The McKendrees Jessalyn McKendree Hardy
Jessalyn is 24 years old and the youngest member of The McKendrees. Jessalyn’s size might fool you into thinking she may be shy and timid, but she combines power and sensitivity as a lead vocal for the band. Her emotional sensitivity is well displayed in her rendition of “Cry, Cry, Darling" on the Travelin' Back CD. Her musical influences include Alison Krauss, Patty Loveless, and Patsy Cline. Jessalyn recently graduated from Murray State University with a degree in Elementary Education and is currently teaching first grade at Reidland Elementary School.
